Decided to use Opacity Mask to help the look of curtain shadow

Original Cloth Texture

Increased Contrast Texture

Opacity Map added to curtain

Research Conclusion: The gobo creates artifacts but adds more texture to the scene. With more research into render console variables, the artifacts could be decreased.
